no historical datas on a few pairs

Hello sir,

I do not have historical datas for the following pairs

NZDJPY
XAUUSD
XAGUSD

My broker is GAINCAPITAL/Forex.com

They seem to pretend that I can't have the oil money instruments.

Thanks for your post.

Are you using NinjaTrader's server to get the historical data? If so then unfortunately we provide historical data for popular contracts only.

In you Gain account connection please change the Historical data to Gain server and see if you can get the data or not.

• In Control Center menu bar goto Tools>Account Connection
• In the Account Connection dialog select your Gain connection and click on Change
• In the Connection Options dialog click Next
• In the next window please make sure to select the Historical data as Gain Server
• Click Next, Next and Finish.

Now restart NinjaTrader and see if you are able to get the historical data for the said instruments.

Please note Gain provides data for the last 24 hours only.

are you telling me that oil silver and gold are not "POPULAR MARKET".

I'm a member of a site called "TheOilMoney" they use ninjatrader. How do they do then?


thanks to tell because I made considerable investments (related to my situation of couse) to have "THE BEST" plateform

Now I hope you are not telling me that I made these investments to trade forex only.

I have been trying to set up thinks for 3 months and I'm always told to go and ask the guy next door

to be short . How to theses guys from "theoilmoney" using ninjatrader get their datas. I'm ready to change brokers if necessary

Unfortunately we provide data for select instruments only..

If you want historical data for all instruments then I would suggest subscribing to Kinetick which is also the preferred data feed provider for NinjaTrader.

NinjaTrader enables you to place trades directly with your broker, and as that functionality is unhindered and separate from the availability of historical data from your provider we are unable to provide a refund.

NinjaTrader supports the ability to connect to multiple providers simultaneously which enables you to continue trading live with your broker, but supplement there data if additional data is needed.

For this purpose Kinetick is the preferred data provider that can be used to supplement your broker's data, but for a list of all supported providers and what data is available please see:
