chart display keeps changing

Hi NT friends,

This NG contract plot keeps changing to a large bar display. When first loaded, it would look like normal. Then it will change to the large bar display. Tried different session template, it did teh same thing. Any idea what is going on?

Thank you for your post.

The NinjaTrader insturment manager is not set to move to the 12-12 expiry of NG until the 29th of October - with the Merge Policy in place by default, this would cause NinjaTrader to display data from the 11-12 expiry in your chart. You may use the following steps to correct the issue:

• Open the Instrument Manager by clicking Tools > Instrument Manager.
• In the Manager, select NG from the list on the right then click Edit to open the Instrument Editor.
• In the Editor, navigate to the Misc tab and scroll down to the Contract Months section - select that property then click the '...' button which appears.
• In the Contract Months menu, select 12-12 and change the rollover date to 9/27.
• Click OK to exit the Contract Months menu.
• Click OK to exit the Instrument Editor.
• Click OK to exit the Instrument Manager.
• Restart NinjaTrader.

After restarting you should see NG 12-12 charts load normally.
