But can the US Dollar (index), which is available on the FXCM platform be charted. I would guess it's treated as a currency pair, even if it's originally from the ICE I believe.

FXCM's Forex data for NT7

Hi Support,

I have live accounts with FXCM, UK and a free version of NT7 that I obtained from Mirus Futures.

I'd like to try out NT7 with data from FXCM but I was told that I had to either lease or purchase NT7 before I could have access to FXCM's data. Evidently, this is a requirement set by Ninja Trader. Is this true? Has NT moved away from their policy of providing FREE "charting only" software?

Hi Joe I use Trade Station.
There was an FXCM Beta test form I completed but they seem to know little about it, anyway I just used the standard connection NT7 stuff with my details and works fine.

Welcome to the NinjaTrader Support Forums!

That requirement was only to connect to FXCM while it was in Beta testing. Since it is no longer in Beta, you may connect to FXCM using the Simulated License key as stated Alan stated.
