NT crash by loading Yahoo CON.DE

Hi,

my NT crahs always by loading the stock CON.DE.

This massage pop up:

"Error on loading chart data for `con Default´

I´m connected to Yahoo before loading datas....

Pullbacktrader, same if you try with the name changed to CON_DE?

CON. itself would be a reserved Windows word and could not be used here as name.

I can use CON.DE data from Yahoo in Chart (with renaming to CON_DE as suggested) but cant use this data in an Market Analyzer

Thank you for your post and welcome to forums!

The Market Analyzer requires real-time data. Since Yahoo is EOD data, it does not supply the data that the MA needs to drive it.

I just added all 30 DAX stocks from yahoo to my MA.
All but CON.DE is working fine ( on EOD )

My apologies, I had some bad information. End of Day data cannot populate the Market Analyzer, but Yahoo data is snapshot data and is sufficient to run the MA.

When testing, I was able to load this instrument to the Market Analyzer without issue. If you right-click and select "Reload All Historical Data", does this appear to change anything?

Hello ZachS,

as it seems, yahoo was not the problem.
I had a second data-provider active (Continuum) which may caused the error only with CON.DE.
After deactivating this data-feed, all is fine now.
