    e.g. 15min 15day chart?

    Hello,

    Maybe I'm missing something!

    1. How do I do a 15 minute bar on a 15 day chart?

    2. How do I create different candle time frame and number of day, combinations?

    3. How do I create a default time period? e.g. 15day/15min bar?

    Thanks,
    Joseph

        WHY?
I want to see a specific number of days the market trades; not including weekends!!
Why has this option not been implemented??

          Hello Karado58,
To exclude weekend, you have to either use an appropriate session template (like US Equities RTH or CME US Index Futures RTH) or build a custom session template.
You can change the sessions template from the data series parameters dialog.
          • Right click on the chart
          • In the context menu click on Data Series
          • In the new dialog choose an appropriate session template in the filed "Sessions template"

Please refer to our help guide to know more about session templates.

              10 days data

              Good Morning,

I still do not get 10 days of open market data.

              I use Interactive brokers.

              Thanks.

I see the same thing with recorded data from TDA on FB.

I reset the master instrument to US Equities RTH (5 days), and it still start on 10/22. (Well really 10/21, but that's a Sunday).

                It should start on 10/17?

                  Hello Karado58,
Interactive Brokers provide limited amount of historical data.

You may consider subscribing to Kinetick, which is also the preferred data feed for NinjaTrader, and provides 200 days of historical minute data and 120 days of historical tick data.

                    Hello sledge,
Sorry for the confusion, the bar has a From date and To date component. If you set Load data based on = Days (from Data Series dialog) and set the Days to load = 10, and End Date = Today (10/30/2012) then NinjaTrader will load 10 days of data, i.e. from 10/20/2012.

Alternatively you can set the Load data based on = Custom Range and set and Start and End date.

I found a way around it...just request more data then you require. e.g. request 15m/20days and you get 13days of 15m.
