CQG not connecting

    CQG not connecting

    Anyone experiencing issues connecting to CQG this morning.
    Mine is just saying connecting-CQG but never connects.

    Tried removing connection and replacing but did not help. Still not connecting.

    I just tried to log in and it is stuck at connecting CQG.

            Hello all,

            Thank you for your posts here.

            We have reports that some users are currently unable to connect to CQG, or the CQG connection is taking several minutes before it will connect. CQG has reported to us that they are aware of the issue and will provide an update when it is resolved.

            I look forward to assisting you further.

                Same issue.

                Shouldn't NT still start without the data connection? Same way it starts when the data provider is down for maintenance?

                I can't even get into to NT to switch to my Zenfire Account with another broker.

                Not a good situation.

                    Thank you for your responses here.

                    Please send a note to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com with 'ATTN: Patrick' and a reference to this thread: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...ad.php?t=53218

                    This can sometimes happen if there are any issues with the ConnectOnStartup feature for the connection and in this case NinjaTrader is trying to connect on start up to CQG. I can edit a file of yours to disable this feature so that you can have access to the platform. I'll then send it right back to you.

                    Can you please send me your configuration file attached to your e-mail to support?
                    You will find your configuration file in the following directory:
                    (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\config.xml

                    I look forward to assisting you further.

                        how often does this thing happen? i just recently switched from Zenfire to CQG and i maybe had problems once in 3 years with Zenfire and a month and half into CQG and this happens...should i switch back?

                          Only reason I switched from Zenfire to CQG was for the Indexes. Seems that there have been more issues lately with CQG. Starting to evaluate just how badly I need the Indexes(Tick, Trin.......)

                            It finally connected after 5-10mins, just leave it alone and it will eventually connect. This is the first time its happened in more than 6mths for me. The only other issue I've had was missing backfills on for a Sunday globex session a couple weeks ago, otherwise it is solid.

                              Same problem here: No available Rom number, and never connects
                              My CQG connection is configured in NT to start manually, not automatically on startup
