ES Chart/DOM Freeze after order is filled

I'm having an issue with the data for ES freezing after an order is filled. I'm using NT/CQG through AMP.

I trade on NQ and ES simultaneously but this problem has only happened with the ES data and this only started after I went live.....no issues with the simulated data.

I place my Buy/Sell order via the Dynamic SuperDOM and as soon as the order is filled my chart freezes entirely and the price ladder partially freezes (the current price - in yellow - moves seems to freeze and the buy/sell info - in blue/green - moves separately. The market data in the Control Centre Orders tab freezes also.

I've tried a number of things to "re-set" the ES data (close/open the chart/DOM, select a different market then set it back to ES, etc.) but the only "fix" seems to be to shut down NT and re-start which is more than a little nerve-racking when I'm in the middle of trading.

And like I said, this has never happened with the NQ data. Also, if my ES order is filled "slowly" (volumes are really low) then sometimes the data doesn't freeze. This hasn't been consistent but it does happen occasionally.

    Any thoughts?

    Hello Elysium,

    Thank you for your post.

Please contact me with a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com. In your message, please include the following:

1.) A link to this forum thread.

2.) A copy of your log and trace files from the date of the last execution which resulted in this behavior.

Log files are located in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder and are named by date in a YYYYMMDD format. Today's log file, for example, would be named 'log.20121016.txt'.

Trace files are located in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder and are named by date in a YYYYMMDD format. Today's trace file, for example, would be named 'trace.20121016.txt'.

3.) The time of the order so that I can identify it in the logs.
