    Hello gg80108,
To assist you further can you please send a toy NinjaScript code* replicating the behavior to support[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com

Also do let me know the exact settings and the steps how to replicate it.

Please append Attn:Joydeep in the subject line of the email and give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.

I look forward to assisting you further.

*The "toy" just means something that is a stripped down version that isn't necessarily the whole logic. It makes things easier to rout out.

I dont know which part to strip out, since the indicators cause the orders to be entered and exited. and the orders are the orders...
I did notice something,, In the NAME column says "Close position" in all the leftover WORKING positions. Any info on what causes this verbiage, might help me where in the code to look.

        gg,

A 'working' state means that an order is working at the exchange, i.e. it exists on the exchange (or for sim simulated as if it was on the exchange).

            Hello gg80108,
The Enter() methods first close any existing position in the opposite direction and then submits the long/short orders. The exit trades are named "Close Position" by NinjaTrader.

I will also suggest to reset the simulator account, before performing the backtest.

Resetting a simulation account will clear all historical trade data from this account. Please follow the instructions below to reset a simulation account.
            • From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
            • Select the "Simulator" tab
            • Press the "Reset" button
