Major Problem with MB Trading Connection

Hi,

I have NT7 running an automated strategy on a Amazon EC2 cloud server. About twice a day I will get error messages saying 'Default Account 'L382**23' is unavailable for trading', this is costing me money which although only a little at the moment we could be talkings $100's of dollars going into the future.

Can someone from support please look into RDing into the server to have a look at this, I'm worried that one day I'm going to be left in a losing position hours longer than I should have been.

I do know that MBTrading does daily maintenance on the server and customer accounts at approximately 5 PM EST.


To investigate further please send the latest log and trace files from this computer to support[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com

Put 'Attn Ryan L.' in the subject header and reference this thread.

You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

• The log file will be named "log.YYYYMMDD.txt"

You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

• The trace file will be named "trace.YYYYMMDD.txt"

Not only MBTrading Maintence time brings up that message, but also when they are updating your account. I would think if you have a stop loss in that it would still be effective, but they would be the ones to ask for sure.

I hope you know that trades carried over the Maintence period comes with an interest charge. You can check with MB about this as they are the ones that told me that.
