KINETICK free EOD for AEX and CAC40 futures.

Hi,

Is it possible to get free EOD data for the futures contracts on index AEX and CAC40 ?
It didn't seem to work, i can get the index but not the futures contracts.

Hello,

CAC40 should come preconfigured. If that is not loading for the CAC40 11-12, please go to Tools--> Options--> Data tab--> select "Reset Instruments".

You should be able to load CAC40 with the default settings now.


AEX Futures will need to be manually added

Please follow the instructions below to add an instrument in the NinjaTrader 7 Instrument Manager.

• From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Instrument Manager
• Press the "New" button
• Enter instrument specific information and select the appropriate exchange.
• Fill in any relevant information under the "Misc" tab, including the symbol mapping for Kinetick
• Press the "OK" button

Master Instrument: (user defined name) AEX
Instrument Type: Futures
Tick Size: 0.05
Session Template: Default 24/7
Symbol Map: Kinetick: AEX
Exchange: Default

Thanks it works but ...
I've open a graph of Cac 40 futures 11-12 , i have a question about the trading hours of the kinetick data for this contract.
Are they from 8h00 to 22h00 (gmt+1-Paris,Amsterdam) ETH+RTH
or from 9h00 to 17h30 (gmt+1-Paris,Amsterdam) only RTH .
I post a graph with data of an other provider and in second Kinetick in NT to show the difference i get it seems Kinetick provides only RTH EOD data .
Am i right or is there an other thing to change to receive data of all the trading time

You are correct, kinetick would provide RTH EOD data. Daily data is reported from your data provider as OHLC, and it is up to them to define how these are calculated. You can use a 1440 minute chart with Kinetick to get ETH daily bars however this would require a subscription.
