Stop Sell and Stop Buy orders at the same time

Dear all,

I wonder if it is possible to set up two ATM orders stop buy and stop Sell or Limit buy and limit Sell at the same time at the DOM? If I set up a stop buy order and I try to set up a stop sell order or vice versa I receive a message as follows: "You can't submit an exit order to a strategy until any of its enty orders has been filled".

Is it possible to change mouse button settings regarding order types?

After you have placed your first order, the ATM Strategy control list will say "*Active ATM Strategy - <name>"

You will need to reselect the desired ATM Strategy template from this list before you submit the second order.

At this point you will have two "Active ATM Strategy" listed

One of the great features of NinjaTrader is its ability to submit two entry orders, one which will cancel if the other is filled.

You can accomplish a breakout/breakdown approach by:

• Right click in the SuperDOM and select the menu "OCO Order" to enable this function
• For your first order, select the desired option from the "ATM Strategy" drop down list
• Submit your stop order to buy above the market
• For your second order, select the desired option from the "ATM Strategy" drop down list
• Submit your stop order to sell below the market
• CRITICAL Right click in the SuperDOM and select the menu "OCO Order" to disable this function

For a market fade approach just substitute limit orders with stop orders. This entry technique is demonstrated in our free ATM Level I training class that we hold several times per week

Many thanks for your support. Break out orders really work!
I am wondering whether there is a alternative to place a stop buy or stop sell with a keyboard hotkey or similar feature insteed of the middle mouse button as I am using a web based remote tool in order to connect to a NT7-PC which does not support the middle mouse button?

It is not possible to reconfigure the order submission configuration on the SuperDOM at this time. You will need to use a middle mouse button.
