    Historical data grayed out

    Hello, my reload historical data is grayed out.

    I tried resetting the db, instruments and reinstalling multipule times. I also tried restarting my computer.

    It is only grayed out in market replay connection. Before it always would work in market replay connection.

    What is the problem? I also tried in 32 bit and 64 bit.

      This is with market replay connection.

      I use Kinetick for live data.

      Reload data works on other computers and worked before, but not now.

        Hello,

        It is not possible to reload historical data using Market Replay data. You will need to connect to your standard data provider to reload historical data.

          No, this is not true. It has worked before, and it works on my other computer. I use market replay every day.

          Historical data sometimes does not load in market replay, so I'm forced to reload it. Unfortunately it won't work anymore!

              I'm sorry to hear of your frustration.

              Note that historical data and market replay data are totally separate items. While Market Replay data can be downloaded from the File > Utilities > Download Replay Data menu and replayed using the Market Replay connection this feed cannot be used to load historical data. In order to load historical data, you would need to be connected to your standard data provider.

              I'd recommend that you connect to replay with the other PC and attempt to reload historical data - you should find that the option is grayed out and unelectable here as well.

                The problem is not reloading data with a feed. It is reloading data in market replay connection. This has worked for the past year for me, up until this weekend on my desktop. It sitll works on market replay connection,

                  I suspect that you not being able to select Reload All Historical Data in Market Replay is related to your license key.

                    I got the same problem too,I am using cqg demo.I was able to download from historical data manager(Tools>historical manager)and play it.Now,i cant replay it although it's said to be downloaded.
                    I tried delete everything related to nt even registry and reinstall again.And the problem still can't be solved.I also did what jimi did,tried 32 and 64 bits,but still remain the same.

                      Hello,

                      It is not possible to play back historical data. In order to play back data, you must download market replay which is a form of data that differs from historical data. Market replay data must be downloaded via the File > Utilities > Download Replay Data menu.
