Instrument Manager assign a value for all stocks

Hi, more often that I would have wish when I open a chart it appears a message saying that the stock has to be assigned to and exchange.

I want to assign all stock to nasdaq and nyse . Is that possible?

Hello Joaquin,

You can assign the exchange as follows. Please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Instrument Manager, highlight the stock in the 'Available master instruments' section and click Edit. Assign the exchange the stock is traded on and click Ok.

If the stock is listed on an instrument list, please remove and re-add the stock now that it has different settings. Instructions can be found at the link below.

In addition, you can import a stock list which allows you to set the exchange the same for all stocks you import. Please see the following link for instructions and more information.

Yes I know how to change this, only one instrument at a time. Is not possible or what I haven´t been able to do is to select more than one instrument on the list and put the same exchange.

I do not want to go to 2000 instruments and do the same procedure...

So, If this cannot be done the best I think is to delete all instruments and import again. The problem here is I think I cannot put more than one exchange here...So not quite sure where the solution is.

Yes, I suggest to remove all instruments and import them using stock instrument lists.

When you import a stock instrument list, the stocks will have the Default exchange enabled and the exchange you select.
