TF data problem

I'm trying to replay TF in October but I'm unanble to get
the data. For some reason it works starting Nov 1 and
onward but not before. I have no problems with other
instruments.

So that I can better assist you, please answer the following questions:

Which date are you working with?

Was your data recorded in real-time or downloaded from our servers?

You are using TF 12-12 for this date, correct?

Any date before Nov 1 of 2012.
I'm using replay...CQG I guess

What I also should say is when I do a replay of TF for
Oct 30 the chart I want to start the replay at 659am but
stops at 615. When I press play it doesnt move forward.
Nothing.

Thanks for clarifying.

Taking a step back - have you downloaded replay data for these dates via the File > Utilities > Download Replay Data menu?

Thanks for clarifying.

In that case, let's start by downloading a new copy of the 10/31 data.

Please download that data via the File > Utilities > Download Replay Data menu. Include both Level I and II data in your download.

Next, reconnect to replay - right click in the replay control window and select 'Go To'. Move to noon on the 31st and click Play.

Do you at this point see streaming data?

ok i did what you said and yes I see price movement on the chart starting at 12pm oct 31.

Please be aware that Ive been on the phone with AMP futures and
they have the same problem; so this isn't an isolated incident.

I can verify that the TF 12-12 data exists on the market replay servers for october.

If you right click on the Market Replay Controller and select "Available Data", what is the range of data you have for the TF 12-12? Does it list the October dates you're trying to replay?

this is what I have: instrument: TF 12-12, L1 begin: 10-29-12 9:00:36,
L1 End: 10/20/12 8:59:56, L2 Begin: 10/29/12 9:00:06 and L2 End 10/30.12 8:59:56

Please note I was with an AMP futures technician and they have the same
problem. When I bring up the TF 12-12 chart it ends at 6:15am and doesnt
go beyond that...that is for Oct 30. They were trying to figure out the problem
for 30 minutes and couldnt do it. They said to contact you guess.

Hello,

Thank you for the clarification.

The exchanges closed at 6:15 on the 29th and 30th in response to the weather in the north east. There was no data to record at this time.

I've tested this week and the replay data works for this time frame and accurately reflects the days that the market was closed.
