Buy/Sell data on Range Chart

Have created a 8 ticks charts as attached. For some reason, the buy and sell marker do not correlate with the chart. Please see the circled items. The small arrow is outside of the candlestick. Heard that this may be related to the Merge Policy but has tried both MergeNonBackAdjusted and MergeBackAdjusted with the same result. Any mistakes I have made?

Are we looking at live orders or orders in the Sim101 account? Orders in the Sim101 account execute anywhere in the bid/ask range and therefore could appear outside the body of a candle which is based on Last price.

In the case of Live Account, how is this handled differently compared with a Sim101 account?

Hi Tiffany,

Unlike a sim order where NinjaTrader executes the order in a virtual exchange on the local PC a live order is sent to your broker and the exchange for execution. Because the order is executed at the exchange, it would always be within the last traded price reported by that exchange and therefore would fall in the boundaries of a bar based on last price.
