Can you please confirm you are showing as connected to Kinetick in the lower left hand corner of the NinjaTrader Control Center. Also please you are attempting to load a Daily intreval within your chart window.

strange - even stocks that are in the software (eg ADBE) their chart comes up blank when I type their symbol - GOOG, etc. most do not come up

    (AAPL does come up)

    Please take the following steps.
    • Control Center -> Tools -> Instrument Manager
    • Search for SSO in the name field
    • Select SSO and press Delete
    • Press 'OK' on the Instrument Manager
Open a new chart and select an instrument you know works.

Once the chart has loaded type directly on the chart -> SSO and press Enter

You should see the chart now load SSO while connected to Kinetick.
just tried to load two nyse charts but the charts open blank

i tried without them listed in the instrument manager,
and again with them manually loaded (eg, KORS - I added KORS as the symbol map for kinetic

    1x? 2x? 3x?

*please read all and any prospectives on 2x/3x funds... only really meant for intraday and not multi-day holdings of more than 3 days (from what I read/understood a few years ago)....your mileage may vary.

    Thank you for your post.

NinjaTrader comes pre-loaded with the most commonly traded instruments however, you may find the need to add an additional instrument. Please follow the instructions below to add an instrument in the Instrument Manager.
    • From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Instrument Manager
    • Press the "New" button
    • *Enter in instrument specific information and select the appropriate exchange (add Default exchange for equities in addition to the actual exchange)
    • Fill in any relevant information under the "Misc" tab such as symbol mapping for your target connectivity provider
    • Press the "OK" button

The instrument is now added to the master instrument list. Please follow the instructions below if you want to add this instrument to an instrument list.
    • Select the instrument list you wish to add the instrument to via the "Instrument lists" drop down list in the upper left hand corner
    • Select the exchange (Default recommend for equities) as this will route orders to your broker smart routing system
    • Select the appropriate expiration date if this is a futures instrument
    • Press the "<" button to add the instrument to the list

You are now complete and can press the "OK" button.
thanks - i got up to the symbol mapping but wasnt sure about that - the online help used ES so I tried that. It found SSO and got it saved. but the chart comes up blank.
