Paper trading account connection IB

Hello,

I already have an account connection in my computer for Interactive brokers for both real trading and papertrading.

The thing is that I hired a virtual desktop for trading and I installed again NT there (current version), then I create an account for the IB real trading, but the problem is when I try to do the same for the paper trading connection.

I use the same parameters as the one I have in my computer but I do something wrong.

I attach a screenshot of the error.

The current version of NinjaTrader and Traders Workstation supported together is NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.11 and Traders Workstation 927.7.

Can you verify that you are using the supported version of TWS? You can check under TWS -> Help -> About -> Scroll down to the bottom and look for the Build #.

If not you can download Traders Workstation 927.7 from the link below

The issue persists. The thing is that I only have the problem when trying to connect to my paper account. If I connect to my real IB account there is no problem. It must be something related to the virtual desktop ID. This is the message I get:

Login failed: IB.Adapter.MessageLoop No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 173.228.132.181 : 7496

Any idea?

Please make sure that you have enabled the TWS API Configuration to allow a connection. This can be set in TWS by going to Configure--> API--> check "Enable ActiveX and Socket Clients".

Please let me know you continue to experience issues.
