    Why Going from Sim to Live Orders Don't Trasmit??

    Hello,

    I've been running a model on the sim account fine, no problems.

    I then changed the account to one designated by a trading firm (it too is a sim account, but it's more 'live' since they're keeping track of the results) through Zenfire.

    The problem is now NO orders get executed! Each time it says "Strategy abc... submitted an order that generated the following error 'OrderRejected' etc..."

    Then another box says 'Zenfire, operation not supported affected order sellshort etc.."

    So 2 questions:

    1) is this a ninja issue or a zenfire issue?
    2) if the model works fine on a regular sim account, why does it not work when I switch accounts?

    So that I can see what might have occurred can you please send the log and trace files to support[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com
    • You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
    • The log file will be named "log.YYYYMMDD.txt"

    • You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
    • The trace file will be named "trace.YYYYMMDD.txt"

          I have exact same problem

          I am trying strategies with SIM account, everything works fine.

          Then I try to transmit these orders with "Live" account (Rithmic01PaperTrading - Topsteptrader) and they are rejected

          From error log:
          20.06.2014 11:34:21 Order TopstepTrader, operation not supported affected Order: Buy 1 Market
          20.06.2014 11:34:21 Strategy Strategy 'VCAausbruchHandel1/dbeaea3562c94de9b18d121250251db7' submitted an order that generated the following error 'OrderRejected'. Strategy has sent cancel requests, attempted to close the position and terminated itself.

          What I have to do?

            resist, which TIF setting did you use for those scripts?

              I didn´t specify them so there should be standard whatever standard is - I understand I have to specify them? a sample would be great.

                When you start your strategy > you can select the TIF to use from the UI. Since GTC is default, I would switchover to DAY and restest to see if you get the same rejection, I would suspect not if you're properly setup to trade that instrument / exchange for this account.
