    NT or CQG data loss

    a first for me, 6E price data stopped updating, don't know if other contracts stopped

    Globex 5 min chart of the 6E appears to indicate Globex was generating price data

    so who dropped it - NT or CQG ?

    Hello,

    Which expiry of 6E are you using? (12-12, 03-13, ##-##)

    Does data appear to update in the Orders tab of the Control Center if 6E is selected?

      remembered I forgot to post the image, and yes 6E is now updating

        NT does not record data again. In the last quarter of the year is repeated twice a month. It's getting to be a big problem for business.

          See attached. I use CQG.

          Huge gap on 6E which starts at 1:27am (that is about7:27pm Eastern time).
          (Problem does not exist for CL and GC and TF).

          When I open a new chart for 6E same problem exists i.e. gap starts at 1:27a.m. and ends in the minute I opened that new chart.

          Same goes for other currencies i.e. 6A, 6B, 6C, 6J, 6S.

            Data for the 6e stopped for me at 12/18 7:30 ET. I noticed this on 12/19 1:15 ET. My NQ data did not stop updating. When I try and download past 6e data it does not populate data for the time missing.

              Addition.

              See attached. In this chart 6E does not show a huge data gap.

              I logged in to a server in the U.S. where all charts look normal (and everything else runs on the same settings).

              How come for Europe the data feed is corrupted but for the U.S. it ain't?

                @sandman I am in the US. How can I tell what server I am connected to and how can I change servers?

                  Hello,

                  I tested 6A 03-13 and 6E 03-13 on my end and I am not able to load all historical data either. There is data loaded up to 7:25 PM EST yesterday, however there is no historical data after that.

                  I have sent an email to development regarding the issue. Once there is news regarding the matter, I will let you know.

                  You can enable 'Save chart data as historical' at Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab to save all real-time data you currently receive as historical data.

                  Unfortunately it is not possible to change servers.

                      Historical data is loaded from our servers when you connect to CQG in NinjaTrader.

                        Is it not better to outsource to a company like CQG the hosting of historical data?
                        This model doesnt work, this is the second time recently 6E has been compromised and it is obvious there is no redundancy or indeed monitoring of data quality on a realtime basis. The data is still incomplete after several hours, why is the data not imported from the US server that seems to be ok?
                        I am aware that it is possible to save own realtime data as historical but I dont trust my ISP to maintain the integrity of connection and further it would be a nightmare to support 1000's of users with their own data sets if we all did that.

                        I will now try and reload historical data in the vain hope somebody has taken this situation seriously.

                          Please avoid reloading historical data for now. This will load the missing data from the server again. It will remove all real-time data you received in the chart.
