Duplicating Lines and shapes

Hello support,

How do you duplicate a drawn line or a shape (rectangle) on a chart?
I know how to copy the line or the shape but not clear how to paste it somewhere else on the chart.

Hello aligator,

Please click the object once so it is selected. Right click and select Copy. Right click again and select Paste. It will be copied right next to the current object. Subsequently drag the second object to the location you like. More information regarding our drawing objects can be found at the link below.

Pasting of Line Drawing Issue

I am also having difficulty copying and pasting a simple line drawing.

If I following your instructions above, I can copy, but when right clicking again to "paste" there is no such option available in the pop-up menu (just the copy selection again). I can, however, accomplish the task of coping and pasting by using the keyboard method: select the "line", then ctrl C and finally ctrl V.

I suspect I am doing something wrong (kind of hard to mess this one up though) or have a parameter incorrectly set somewhere.

Are there any suggestions that I could try, other than the keyboard "hot key" method?

Hello Affliction,

Once you copied the object, please left click in the chart so the drawing object is not selected anymore. Subsequently if you right click in the chart and you should see Paste listed.
