    Market Internal Data not updating

    I've looked at solutions given for this problem but they still do not work.

    Using my old software AmiBroker the charts update fine in real time so this is a NT problem.

    I'm using NT 7 with the latest build of IQFeed. none of my Market Internals update such as TRIN, TICK, PCRATIO.

    I checked each symbol under the misc tab to make sure the correct IQFeed symbol is in place but the charts still do not update.

    Thank you for your post.

    Please reset your instruments with the steps I have provided below:
    • Disconnect
    • Tools
    • Options
    • Data tab
    • Reset Instruments
    • Restart NinjaTrader
    • Reconnect
    • Open a new ^TICK or ^TRIN chart

    Please let me know if you then receive real time data.

      I did as you asked with mixed results.

      The 1st time I reset and restarted NT7 the TICK worked but not the TRIN or PCRATIO. I retyped the symbol in for TRIN reset again and restarted, both TICK & TRIN worked but still nothing with PCRATIO.

      I retyped the symbol for PCRATIO the now the TRIN stopped working and nothing I do gets it started again?

        Can you please clarify what mapping you are currently using for PCRATIO and what the specific name for this market metrics.

          I think you misunderstood my post it was the TRIN that is not working. The first time I reset I was able to get TICK to work bit not TRIN, I retyped the Symbol for IQFeed TRIN.Z and reset both TRIN and TICK now works.

          But when I reset PCRATIO TRIN stopped working again. TICK works as do all other symbols.

            OK there is a much larger issue here my custom list are working but it seems virtually all the preloaded NT stocks now are not updating????

            All the symbols are standard IQFeed symbols??

            I have another RT program running simultaineously and all symbols update fine again this is a NT problem?

              Can you please confirm with IQFeed you are subscribed to the required Exchanges for the symbols you are viewing such as Nasdaq, NYSE, CME, etc.

                Yes I am subscribed. I have AmiBroker-RT, OmniTrader-RT and these symbols all update in Real Time with no problems, but do not update in NT7. Again this is a Ninja Trader ONLY issue.

                At this point I'm thinking about uninstalling and re-installing with a clean install abd DB.

                  In the message, please include the following:
                  1.) A link to this forum thread.
                  2.) Your IQFeed Login and Password
                  3.) The instruments you cannot receive real time data for
