    DOM stop order entry

    HI:

New to Ninja, running Ninja 7 64 bit. I'm unable to place stop orders on DOM with scroll wheel of MS Comfort Mouse 4500. Scroll wheel is set to middle click function. Any suggestions?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

What does occur when the middle button is clicked? Does an error appear? Does an icon of some kind appear?

        Hi,

Do you have another mouse available to you that you could try? If so, shut down the PC change mice and restart.

          Kyle:

I tried old Logitech mouse and works OK. This old one is not really usable as right button shaky. Can you recommend any current USB mice that you have middle buttons compatible with Ninja?

          Thanks.

            Hi JTrader123,

Thank you very much for giving that a shot.

Based on this result, it would seem to me that the new mouse's middle-click is somehow assigned to another function. The first thing I'd try is contacting the manufacturer of that unit to see if the setting can be changed.

While we don't have any official recommendations in terms of pointer devices, I myself use a Logitech M525 which does the job nicely.

              Kyle:

It seems others have had problems with various MS mice and middle-click function:

Posts there say Logitech and HP have not had this problem. Appreciate your suggestion and will look into that Logitech.

              thanks for your help.
