    .net framework

    hi
    i updated microsoft .net framework this week and I am not sure if it has affected Ninja.
    Ninja is acting up this week and was wondering if there could be a corelation ?

    Hello Shane,

    I am not aware of any issue with any .NET Framework updates. Could you answer the following questions so that I may assist you.

    What is the .NET Framework update was installed? (This will be determined by the KB number at the end after going to Windows Update -> View update history)

    What is the latest version of the .NET Framework do you have installed?

    What issues are you having with NinjaTrader?

      hi
      this was the most recent
      I just noticed having trouble booting up taking 5-10 minutes with ninja.
      it locks up more often also. I just wanted to make sure I didnt mess something up with that .net update.

        Hello Shane,

        Thanks for the information.

        That should not effect the startup time of NinjaTrader. Could you try to open NinjaTrader without any workspaces and see if it still takes a long time to load up by following the instructions below to delete the "_Workspace.xml" file.

        * Shutdown NinjaTrader
        * Go to (My) Documents -> NinjaTrader 7 -> workspaces
        * Right click on "_Workspace.xml"
        * Select Delete
        * Launch NinjaTrader 7
        * Note: This will not delete any saved workspaces that you have, only make NinjaTrader startup with blank workspace.
