Unable to connect to NinjaTrader data server (64.202.118.179/31654)

    Unable to connect to NinjaTrader data server (64.202.118.179/31654)

    Hi:

    I am Unable to connect to NinjaTrader data server (64.202.118.179/31654)
    What I use is 32bit NT7 1000.7
    When I use 64bit NT7 1000.7 , NT can connect server (64.202.118.181/31654)
    But my broker(TD) can only support 32bit NT.
    What should I do?

    Following is the log:

    1/2/2013 11:53 AM Default Order entry hot keys disabled
    1/2/2013 11:53 AM Connection Global simulation mode enabled

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

    Please close NinjaTrader then disable all Firewalls and other security software you currently have running then open NinjaTrader and attempt to connect.

    If the issue persists can you tell me how you are connected to the internet such as wireless, router, etc.

    Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

      I have already disable the firewall and security software, but still can not connect the NinjaTrader data server (64.202.118.179/31654).
      I use router to connect to internet

        Please close NinjaTrader then connect your PC directly to your modem then attempt to connect.

        If the issue persists please confirm with your ISP IP address 64.202.118.179 and Port 31654 are not currently being blocked.

          Still can not connect the NinjaTrader data server (64.202.118.179/31654). The ISP should not block this IP address.
          Can NT use (64.202.118.181/31654) for connection?

            To be sure you are on the most recent release of NinjaTrader please upgrade to NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.11 with the steps I have provided below. With this procedure you will not lose any Workspaces, Charts, etc.
            • Close all running applications.
            • Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
            • From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.
            • Then you will need to clear your internet browser cache and history. You will clear this from within your internet browser (with IE, Tools-->Options, delete cookies and files, clear history).
            • Reboot your machine.
            • Once these steps are completed, download NT 7.0.1000.11 from the link below:

            If the issue persists please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris Jameson" in the subject line.
            In the message, please include the following:

            1.) A link to this forum thread.
            2.) Your most current trace and log files.

            You will find the file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 7-> Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt

            Log file will be located by going to Documents->NinjaTrader 7->Log->log.YYYYMMDD.txt
