    Bad ticks

    Hello,

I have some graphs with bad ticks that are messing up the chart. I tried to go to Tools, options, data and select filter bad ticks with different percentages but with no result.
I attach a couple of screenshots

How can I make them dissapear and have a good graph?

    Thanks

    Sincerely

    Hello dvercher,

Thank you for your forum post and screenshots.

You can use the Historical Data Manager to exclude any bad ticks:
    • Control Center > Tools > Historical Data Manager...
    • Click the "Edit" tab
    • Expand the appropriate data series by clicking on the "+" plus icon.
    • Navigate to the bad tick in question
    • In the grid on the right hand side > Right mouse click the bad tick > Exclude...
    • Close the Historical Data Manager...

Please let me know if this helps to resolve the situation, or if I can provide any further assistance.

Thank you for your answer. I followed all the steps and I still get the chart with the bad tick. I tried to close tha chart and open it again with the same problem.

        Hello dvercher,

Thank you for the follow up.

Who are you connected to for data? This is displayed with a green background in the lower left hand corner of the Control Center.

You can troubleshoot further by deleting your saved historical data and forcing a new download of this data if you can obtain it from your data provider:

Please use the steps I have provided below to delete your historical data:
        • Close NinjaTrader
        • Documents
        • NinjaTrader 7
        • Open the db folder
        • Delete the Tick, Minute, Day and Cache folders
        • Restart NinjaTrader
        • Connect and re-test the bad ticks on a chart.

I look forward to hearing if this helps to resolve the situation or if I can provide any further assistance.
