Latest Version Of IB TWS

Is 927.7 build of Interactive Brokers' TWS still the latest version supported by NT7?

I have been requested by IB support to upgrade to the latest TWS version to enable bug fixes. They are not happy that I have been using an older version.

If it is still not possible to use the latest version (currently 934.5), then is this because of a fault with the new versions of IB TWS, or Ninjatrader?

Thank you for your note.

TWS 927.7 is still the supported version by NinjaTrader 7.

Other versions of TWS may connect, however these versions have not been put through our tests to ensure full functionality.

NinjaTrader dictates which is the supported version.

TWS 933.5 is the oldest verion I can find on IB's site - how can I find the older verion of TWS that Ninja Trader supports?

Thank you for your post.

Please uninstall your existing version via the Windows Control Panel, and then install 927 via the following link:

Once TWS 927 has been installed, please ensure that the configuration in our Connection Guide for TWS has been completed.

The latest version of NinjaTrader is 7.0.1000.11.

This is also compatible with TWS 927.

I have this annoying issue I cannot use Ninja Trader with IB. I am on TWS version 931.3.

So basically what you are saying is we cannot use this version of TWS with NT3?

1) The supported version of TWS is 927.

Newer versions may work and connect but are untested by our team.



2) What version of NinjaTrader are you using?

You can check under Help -> About, this will look like 7.0.1000.xx


3) Do you receive any error messages when you try to connect to IB?

log says time out (login failed)

also it makes TWS close.

I will check with IB first to see if this older version of TWS is supported by them. If not I will wait until NT is tested on my version of TWS

Current supported TWS version

Hi,

i just received a message from IB saying that I need to update my version of TWS. I currently use "Build 927.7, Jun 19, 2012 2:03:50 PM". According to their mail theses are the critical dates:

April 14, 2014 - TWS versions below 926.0 will no longer be operable.

April 21, 2014 - TWS versions below 936.9 will no longer be operable for API use, but will remain operable for non-API generated orders.

Can you please send me the link with the latest version of TWS supported by TWS?
