    Strange IB behavior

    Hello,

    I'm trying to connect to IB. (Kinetick connects fine).
    I always start IB first. Then I connect IB from NT7. I have not marked the option to connect IB on startup. But today I can not connect. When I press"Connect IB" the program keeps showing the initial IB's screen that says me to enter the codes from the IB's card. When I do so, another screen shows up saying that other session is opened. I choose to close that session, but another screen pops up. And so on. What to do? I can not trade...

    1) What version of NinjaTrader are you using? (Example: 7.0.1000.11)

    * You can check under Help -> About

    2) What version of Traders Workstation are you using?

    * To verify what version of Traders Workstation you currently have log into Traders Workstation
    * Under Help go to About Traders Workstation...
    * Scroll down and look for Build

    3) Does your Traders Workstation settings match the ones in the second screen shot of our Interactive Brokers connection guide?

    4) Are you using Mosaic Mode and if so do you have the Advanced Order Management (TWS) window open?

      And I get message "Login failed: Timeout on waiting TWS"

      And I'm at mosaic mode of TWS

        Hello Sergey,

        Thanks for your reply.

        When using the Mosaic mode you must have the Advanced Order Management (TWS) window open to connect with NinjaTrader.
        Please see step 3 in out Interactive Brokers Connection Guide linked below.

            The current version of NinjaTrader and Traders Workstation supported together is NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.11 and Traders Workstation 927.7
            Please upgrade and ensure you have the Advanced Order Management (TWS) window open

            To upgrade to NinjaTrader version 7.0.1000.11 please follow the link bellow.

            Under Current User paste your license key.
            You can locate your license key under Help> License key
            Select Download NinjaTrader
            Download Version 7.0.1000.11 (Current)
            Before running the installer ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

            To verify what version of Traders Workstation you currently have log into Traders Workstation

            * Under Help go to About Traders Workstation...
            * Scroll down and look for Build

            You can download Traders Workstation 927.7 from the link below


            Follow the steps in our Interactive Brokers Connection guide (linked below) to configure Traders Workstation 927.7

              2) TWS Build 927.7 June 19 2:03:50 PM

              Oh, I see. TWS was not opened.
              Now I'm connected.
