How Do I Design This ATM Strategy?

hi all, thanks in advance for all your wonderful help.

I'm trying to design an ATM strategy does the following:

1) Puts a Hard 8 tick stop at the onset of a trade.

2) If the the trade gains 20 ticks, the 8 tick hard stop gets cancelled, and replaced with a 10 tick trailing stop, which gets "updated" every 5 ticks (in other, not until the trade goes up to 25 ticks, does the trailing stop move up to 15, that is 25 less the new 10 tick stop).

I hope this is clear. I have made a few attempts at this in the ATM windows, and keep getting a strategy that, at 3 ticks, creates a three tick trailing stop, which is clearly not what I want.

Order qty: 1

Stop loss: 8
Profit target: -

AutoTrail

Stop loss: 10
Frequency: 5
Profit trigger: 20

Hmmm, I keep trying exactly what you are saying.

However, my trade keeps behaving in the following way:

hard 8 tick stop,

when trade hits 3 ticks of profit, a 3 tick trailing stop kicks in.

then it trades taht way till it stops out.

what gives?

The AutoTrail should only trigger at 20 ticks in profit using the setup I provided.

Could it be you have the AutoBreakeven enabled as well or perhaps you are using multiple steps as per the AutoTrail?
