is there anyway to exit or enter manually on an automated strategy ?

now , when I close a position, the strategy becomes disabled.

Is there a way around that ?

Hi Shane, correct that would be expected for regular NS strategies - you could call ATM's though from your NinjaScript and resulting trades could be then fully manually managed via ChartTrader or DOM interfaces - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...gy_methods.htm

A full working code example is preinstalled with NT, you find it under 'SampleATMStrategy'.

Hello shanemcdonald,
Yes, you can copy part of the code or create a copy of it.

• In Control Center menu bar goto Tools>Edit NinjaScript>Strategies
• In the Strategies tab select the SampleAtmStrategy and click on the Ok button
• In the NinjaScript Editor, right click on it
• In the context menu click on Save As
• In the Save As dialog append an appropriate name and click on Ok.

Now you will be able to edit the code further.
