how to place stop order on mac in static superdom
the notes say use middle mouse button to place market stop, but I am on mac and only have a keyboard and touch pad -
cowboyss, an alternative would be then setting up a HotKey for your needed order in our Hot Key Manager interface for this task - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...h_hot_keys.htmBertrandNinjaTrader Customer Service

i need to create a stoploss hot key
and a take profit hot key
which terms do I make hot keys?
eg. I can just click buy market without hot key - now im in a trade
I want to create stop (each time is different - eg 1.50 below the buy price)
and I want to create a take profit (each time is different - eg 1.50 above the buy price)

question:
how do I make the SL and PT 1.25, 1.5 1.75?

So that would be expressed in points? You would need to convert those then to ticks and enter them in your ATM strategy template as stop / target off set values (taken off your entry price once triggered).
If you right click in the SuperDOM or ChartTrader interface you can set the Parameter type to pure price and percent as well, a dedicated mode as well for points here in on our feedback list in product management for consideration.BertrandNinjaTrader Customer Service

oh, I need to be clearer in my goal
How to convert the ATR figure as the SL and PT —
so if the ATR says 1.25 I want to subtract that from the buy price and make that the SL; etc.
or if this is not simple, I would do the math on the paper and still would need to know how/where to place the SL PTLast edited by cowboyss; 01-22-2013, 05:52 AM.

Thanks for clarifying, using an ATR based offset would unfortunately not be automatically possible here.
You would need to do the math and then setup as desired, using the steps shown here for an ATM based on ticks - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...y_example_.htmBertrandNinjaTrader Customer Service
