Daily chart not updating on todays bar.

    Daily chart not updating on todays bar.

    I have a CL #-## 330 Minutre using the NyMEX RTH session load and it is not update the current day price bar as the day progress. I am using Rancho Dinero indicators but they said to contact NT. In order to get the chart to update to the price bar to the last price, I must relaod historical data. There are no errors in the log file, so could someone help.

    Also,
    What is the correct process for fixing CL #-##. Should the date be 1/17/13 and what is the merge policy.

    Thank you for your post.

    Please reset your instruments with the steps I have provided below:
    • Disconnect
    • Tools
    • Options
    • Data tab
    • Reset Instruments
    • Restart NinjaTrader
    • Reconnect

    If the issue persits please tell me what data provider you are connected to within NinjaTrader.

      I am connected to Vision Financial and their feed is Kinetick. I did the process ou outline about and restarted NT. Today, there is no data shown for today shown on the chart. I have enclosed a picture you your use.

        Can you clarify if you are connecting to Kinetick or Vision first within NinjaTrader. Also do you receive real time data within the chart and the Orders tab if you select CL 03-13?

          I connected directly to Vision. If I load the same chart with CL 03-13, real time data is display for the current bar.

            Currently Vision Financial does not provide real time data for continuous contracts therefore CL 03-13 will need to be used within your chart window.

              Understood,so the chart data must be reloaded at the end of the business day?

                When viewing CL 03-13 data will update real time when connected to Vision.

                If you are not receiving real time data please with your Daily chart please create a 1440 Minute chart to simulate Daily bars.

                Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.
