    Checking Close at time doesn't trigger exit...

    I have Time to Flatten set, Flatten all UNCHECKED in options->misc,

    I have Close at Time checked on my chart

    I enter a trade from the above chart using ChartTrader

    The order did not automatically exit at the "Time to Flatten".

    Is there something else I need to set to enable autoclose at Time to flatten on a per order basis? I used to CHECK the Flatten all and that used to work.

    In the message, please include the following:

    1.) A link to this forum thread.

    2.) A copy of today's trace file.
    The trace file is located in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
    The file which I need would be named 'trace.20130128.txt'

      Sent email with trace file as requested.

      I had Time to flatten set to 12:58 PM during today's trading. Had a CL order which did not close at 12:58 PM and I had to manually close it.

      Then at ~9:15 PM, I set Time to flatten to 9:20 PM and tried a SIM order, which did not close at 9:20 PM.

      All times in PST.

        After setting the time under the parameter "Time to flatten" in order for this time to recognized you will be required to right mouse click within Chart Trader and enable "Close At Time".

        Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

            I have tested this on my end and was unable to reproduce the issue. Please follow the steps listed below to uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader. With this procedure you will not lose any Workspaces, Charts, etc.
            1. Close all running applications.
            2. Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
            3. From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.
            4. Then you will need to clear your internet browser cache and history. You will clear this from within your internet browser (with IE, Tools-->Options, delete cookies and files, clear history).
            5. Reboot your machine.
            6. Once these steps are completed, download NT7 from the link below:

            Please let me know if this feature then works within Chart Trader when testing with the Sim101 account.

              Issue is related to when you check Close At Time. Apparently you need to check Close At Time AFTER the order is placed. Having it already checked before the order is placed does not close the order at the Flatten time. In that case, after the order is placed I need to uncheck it and recheck the option. This was confirmed by NT support via email, but not apparent.
