Hello,
when I change the dataseries eg from 5 min to 60 min (not to range or tick) even then there appears "Error on loading chart data for "$EURUSD" Default. Unable to get historic rates. Unknown issue for instrument $EURUSD Default"

I have opened Ninjatrader, loaded all historical data, then connect to fxcm and charting OK. But when adding and indicator or changing dataseries this message orccurs.

I know that in the connection infos there is mentioned that historical data with fxcm takes more time but
a.) this is not loading historical data issue
b.) not "longer time" but "unable to get" issue.

Please disconnect from FXCM, reset the instruments and restart NinjaTrader.

To reset your instruments please: go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Data tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.

done so. When restarting NT and connecting then there appear this message on all 4 instruments.

FXCM not loading chart data

Hi Team,

I have established a connection to FXCM. I selected to use FXCM servers for historic data. I have tried a few things but cannot seem to get chart data. It just says 'loading data' but never actually loads. I do get price updates, so there is a connection, it's just not loading chart data.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I had (and now recently I have again) the same problem. I can suggest to you to do as following:

* connect to a datafeed to get the historical data
* then disconnect this one
* connect to fxcm so that fxcm only needs to load the last day

but even then there occur issues in my experience sometimes

* depending of time of day you do so (you should do it the very early morning so that there is not so much to retrieve)
* depending of timeframe (minute charts work fine, issues with rangebars)
* depending of number of charts

We would need the following answers from NT-support:

* when we can load data with a live-license-key and external datafeed (as this worked a long time, now it don´t)
* is there a possibility to load a workspace "partially" with a makro or something. Because when you do like I suggested above and then you load manually one chart after the other then it will work in ever case! But it is annoying to do so.
