Percent Stocks Above SMA for and Index (NASDAQ100)

I am not sure where to start....

I am interested in calculating the total number (count) of stocks that are above their "x" day SMA. This is the sort of market breadth number you can find on StockCharts or BarCharts of FreeStockCharts. However, I would like to be able to set the value of "x", which is not readily available.

This is all End of Day.

What would be nice is if I could add a column to Market Analyzer that is a calculation between the closing price and an indicator column SMA. I then load the Nasdaq100 as the universe and have my result.

Is this possible? Is there a better way in NT to accomplish this?

    Thanks

    Hello coherent,

    Thank you for your post.

This type of column could be possible as an indicator column though custom programming would be required. If you are not a programmer, any of the NinjaScript consultants listed at the following link could code this type of project for you: http://www.ninjatrader.com/partners....pt-Consultants
