My datafeed is IB. I'm trying to load a chart of Yen Denominated Nikkei 225 Index Futures on the GLOBEX exchange. The "Trading Class" in IB is NIY, and the symbol in IB is NIYH3. Note that there are two NIY tickers in IB, the other one uses the SGXCME exchange.
I created a new symbol NIY under Instrument Manager instead of using the existing NKY because I have another data feed that I am using as the primary for some contracts but not for this one.
I've set the tick size to 5, point value to 500, currency to Yen, instrument type to Futures, Globex for exchange, and NIY in the IB symbol map.
When I try to load a chart, it gave a "The contract description specified for NIY is ambiguous: you must specify the multiplier.(200)" error.
If I change the IB symbol map to NIYH3, I get a "No security definition has been found for the request(200)" error.
How do I get it to work properly?
