    6.5 Vs 7

    Couple of problems:

    1. I tried changing a chart from time (minute) chart to tick chart. Right click -- data series-- in the selections box changed minute to tick and number of ticks -- it changes several other parameters also like number of days and session setting.

    2. You no longer have the session time section where you could choose specific clock time rather than preset session template. Why?

    3. In the drop down menu from the arrow next to the instrument name on the chart left upper corner, the time selection button drop down no longer has tick selection in it. Previously you could pick tick number right there. It was much easier. Why change?

    Hello ju1234,

    1. You can quickly change intervals using keyboard commands. Please see the following link under 'How to change a Data Series' for more information.

Changing and Adding Instruments and Intervals via Keyboard
You can change instruments or intervals by pressing a letter or number key in a selected chart. Within the window that appears, you can change the instrument, interval, or chart type by using the following formats and pressing the "Enter" key when finished. If multiple instruments are displayed in the chart, you can change a specific instrument by left mouse clicking to select it before typing. If no instrument is selected, the primary instrument is changed.

    To change bar series:

Type interval value plus the interval suffix (Value +suffix). Examples: "5M" for 5 minute bars, "100T" for 100 tick bars, etc.

    Available suffixes & interval:

    M
    Minute

    T
    Tick

    V
    Volume

    R
    Range

    S
    Second

    D
    Day

    W
    Week

    MO
    Month

    Y
    Year

    RE
    Renko

    2. You can create custom session templates in the Session Manager to load data at times you like. This allows you to set different times per day. More information regarding the Session Manager can be found at the link below.

    3. I am not quite sure the exact reason to change this, however you can quickly switch to a Tick interval by typing for example "150T".
