    backtest questions

    Hi Ninjatrader

I see largest losing trade as -37.66% when my stoploss is set as 7%. is it due to slippage?

Questions on slippage. I run backtest on US stocks, my slippage is set to 1. I understand the concept but don't understand the measure here. I wonder what units are behind it? is it 1 cent, 1 dollar? what is the optimum/realistic value here?

    Thanks

    Hello ionaz,

I am not sure why you had such a loss for that trade. Please check the Chart-tab and see if the data provides clarification.

It is measured in ticks. It is hard to say what value would be realistic - you can use a value to your liking.
