    Hi

    intramarket and intermarket

    so
for intermarket should be necessary to add the Unit Move to create an equity spread.

do you think is possible with Ninja?
    I use Kinetick free datas
    and I also use Interactivebrokers

    Hello hellboy78,

Unfortunately spread charts are not supported in NinjaTrader by default.

However it is possible using NinjaScript to plot the difference between 2 instruments. You would need to program a custom indicator that will plot the difference of two instruments. Please see the link below for more information on this subject.

There is a custom created spread indicator available on our forum. It is listed under Version 7 Indicator as "Spread".

You can find instructions to import new NinjaScript files at the link below.

Plots the Spread of two instruments (NT7 only)

The first instrument is the primary chart data series. The secondary instrument is specified by the parameter "Symbol2". The secondary instrument does not need to be plotted on the chart, but if it is, then "Symbol2" may be left blank and if will default to the second instrument displayed on the chart.

The Parameters "Qty1" and "Qty2" are multipliers which are applied to each instrument's price before adding the two; default values are "Qty1=1" and "Qty2=-1" which will simply plot the difference between the two instruments (P1-P2). They may be set to other values, for example in pairs trading where the quantities might be set for roughly equal dollar amounts for each instrument. Also useful with Interactive Brokers' "Generic Combo" orders.

The Spread indicator may be used as the input to other indicators such as Bollinger Bands, to plot its relationship to its recent volatility.

The "UseMultiplier" parameter defaults to "true" to incorporate the contract multiplier into the calculation.

Default behavior is "CalculateOnBarClose = false" for real-time display; set to "true" if not needed.

See also my "Index" indicator which can plot spreads of any number of instruments.

                Hello hellboy78,

As I test the spread indicator on my end on daily data from Kinetick End of Day (Free) it looks like the indicator is plotting properly.

I have attached a screenshot of my chart + the indicator settings.

Please let me know if you are able to reproduce my settings successfully or if I can provide any further assistance.

                        Hello hellboy78,

When using instrument expiry dates in the future, you can get these to show up properly if you modify your merge policy for the instrument:
                        • Control Center > Tools > Instrument Manager...
                        • Type "NG" into the name field > Click Search
                        • Double left mouse click on the NG future in the grid below.
                        • In the Instrument Editor window > Change the Merge policy from "UseGlobalSettings" to "DoNotMerge"
                        • Click OK when finished
                        • Right mouse click on your NG chart > Reload all historical data.

                            Hello hellboy78,

You can add a new RSI indicator to your chart and place it in the Spread indicator panel, then adjust the scale justification to left:
                            • Right mouse click on your chart > Indicators...
                            • On the left hand side select RSI and then click New
                            • In the RSI parameters set the panel to the same panel number as the spread indicator (Example: Panel 2)
                            • Set the Scale Justification from Right to Left
                            • Click Apply to see the RSI plotted on the Spread panel
                            • Click OK when finished
