Can I use Ninja DOM with forex?

I see that FXCM offers Ninja, but what I can't figure out is whether that is just charts or charts and the DOM.

What forex brokers offer Ninja with DOM (if any)?

    Thanks!

        Hello brownsfan019,

This would be expected if you have not customized your default instrument list.

You can add currency pairs to your default instrument list with the steps below:
        • Control Center > Tools > Instrument Manager...
        • On the "Type" drop down menu > Select "Currency"
        • Click "Search"
        • Select a currency pair by left mouse clicking on it within the order grid below > Click the "<" left arrow button to add this to your default instrument list.
        • Add any currency pairs you would like
        • Click "OK" when finished to save your instrument list.
        • You can now select these currency pairs on the Dynamic SuperDOM instrument drop down.

Instrument Manager has a specific 'forex' drop down, how do I access this from the dom though?

Or is default the only option from the dom?

            Hello brownsfan019,

Unfortunately the default instrument would be the only list that will load on the SuperDOM instrument drop down list.

It looks like my ninja SuperDOM cuts off 1 decimal compared to my MetaTrader4 charts. Is there a way to tell Ninja to keep the same formatting?

                Hello brownsfan019,

You can troubleshoot this by changing the Quote currencies in setting:
                • Control Center > Tools > Options...
                • Data tab
                • Quote currencies (FX) in: Either pip, half pip or tenth pip.
                • Click OK when finished.
                • Check the SuperDOM to see if the price listing is as expected.

I set my FX to tenth pip and the charts match MT4 charts.

The problem is the dom - the Ninja DOM does not match the Ninja Chart, which is confusing to say the least. What am I missing?

This was taken when price on chart matched my MT4 chart perfectly with the ninja DOM too:

                    Hello brownsfan019,

As I test on my end, I see the prices showing the same.

It may be that you are currently looking at the best offer price (Green) as opposed to the best bid price (Blue). NinjaTrader will use the best bid price as the last price in regards to Forex.

Ryan - how do I set my charts and dom to the same price as you did in your screenshot? I can't get mine to line up.

                        Hello brownsfan019,

When quoting currencies in TenthPip, it will create a larger spread between the bid and ask on the SuperDOM price ladder.

On the SuperDOM. you will need to scroll down with your mouse scroll wheel until you can see the bid price appearing (bold blue text)

Is there a way to tell the DOM to stay centered on the blue price? I hit the C, which shows the blue price for a little but then reverts back to the green price.

                            Hello brownsfan019,

If you right mouse click on the border of the SuperDOM window > Is "Auto Center" checked? If you uncheck this option does it help to keep the price in view?

If not, you will need to click the "Hold" button in the upper left hand corner to freeze the SuperDOM price ladder display.

Turned off auto-center, but the price ladder keeps going back to the green price.
Tried to get to 'hold' but it flips back to the green price so quick that I can't get there in time.

Thanks for the help, it's appreciated.

Any other ways to get the price ladder to stay on the blue price?
