Yes, you may absolutely trade equities with NinjaTrader, provided your data provider or brokerage technology supplies this data. The asset classes available within the Instrument Manager are dictated by who you are connected to. If you tell me who you are connected to, I can verify whether or not they provide equities data. Alternatively, you may reference the following link to see what asset classes each of our supported technologies offer.

Equity trading is beneficial. Investing in stock for long term is better than short term.
