I can't see XT futures chart (Asx australian bonds)

I have latest update of NT. I tried to load chart as 03-13 and even ##-##

Who are you connected to? This is displayed by green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

Who is your broker?

(For a chart) what interval is selected?

What is your merge policy and how many days are you trying to load? ( tool -> options -> data tab)

Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

06-13, 03-13, nonbackadjusted, 2 or 50 or 300 days load, Kinetick EOD, daily bar charts, error window appers after trying to load chart.

NT is in panic =))))) - see pct.

Thank you for that information.

Go to tools -> Instrument manager -> search for XT -> left click it to select -> click edit -> click the Misc tab -> Scroll down to locate Kinetick -> type in XT for the symbol mapping

You should now be able to load the XT daily bars. ( you may have to add and remove the symbol from your default list if you have added it)

Thanks. It show me Xt chart. BUT in expiration history NT shows up to 03-05 contract. If I trying to load more than 365 days, NT swear on me...

This means you're trying to load data from back to 2005 when the data is not available. After doing some testing it looks like data for this instrument goes back to sometime in Mid-Late 2011

what you mean "when the data is not available"? in Misc.--Contract Months-- there are a lot of contracts back to 2005.

Historical data is provided by a data provider and not NinjaTrader. In this case you're using Kinetick. There is no historical data beyond that point provided by Kinetick.

Well, if I will connect InteractiveBrikers to NT, will NT extract this history data from IB?

While typically Kinetick provides more data than the other providers you will need to contact Interactive brokers directly to have this answered.

Well, I don't understand IB policy about history data! I can't see history in TWS (terimnal), but only via API solution, what I don't understand. So, does NT work with IB API to load history?

After talking with my colleagues IB will not be able to load more data than Kinetick for XT daily bars.

You can get the full amount of time loaded available from Kinetick by loading the XT ##-## contract

I know the ASX was started in 2006 but I'm not sure what the start time of the 10 year bond futures (XT) was. Can you confirm this is data available from any provider prior to October 2011?: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austral...ities_Exchange

Hello alexstox,

I assume you refer to the Kinetick EOD connection. Unfortunately this instrument is not supported with Kinetick. Kinetick does not support the ICE exchange at this time.
