    No data in chart

    Hello,

    No longer getting data on chart for only ES future on 4 BetterRenko. ES and all other futures data appearing fine on all other settings.

    I have IB as data provider.
    I just upgraded to NT 64b 7.0.1000.12

    Hello,

    Can you verify that you are receiving both live and historical data by opening a Minute based chart?


    BetterRenko bars are built off of Tick data. This is noted in the following section.

    Understanding the data provided by your connectivity provider - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...rical_data.htm

    To receive Historical Tick data, you can supplement your current IB connection with a connection to Kinetick.

    Kinetick supplies at least 120 days of historical tick data, two years of minute data, and ten years of daily data, much more for popular instruments.

      BetterRenko works fine for all other Futures, except ES!!

        Can you verify that you can open a minute chart?

        Have you tried opening a new BetterRenko chart without any templates or indicators applied?

            Hello,

            Since a new BetterRenko chart opens correctly, and seeing your screen shot, there is a Diamond that is plotting at price at or near Zero.

            Please disable the indicator that is plotting the diamonds to see if it returns your chart to normal.

              No, still does not load properly!

              Somehow this Instrument (ES)/indicator is cached, and is corrupt. Since indicator and all other instruments work great, it is the link between specific instrument and indicator! Where can I delete this cached data?

                      Unfortunately the BetterRenko bars aren't available on our Forum.

                      This is available at BigMike's Trading however.

                      We have a free indicator on our forum UniRenko.

                        is there a way to add unirenko as the just like doing AddRenko() for using differen time frames

                          Yes, this is possible if you know what Custom slot the UniRenko bar is using.

                          The UniRenko is using Custom5.

                          You could do Add(PeriodType.Custom5)

                            i get errors when i do that

                            1) cannot convert from type to indicator.......
                            2) period type does not contain Unirenko
                            3) one more about the method match.....
