    Error on loading chart data....

    I'm tired of seeing this.

    1.) Who is your ISP?

    2.) Where are you physically located?

    3.) Please run the trace route diagnostic tool and provide us with the results by following the steps below:


    • Click on Start--> All Programs--> Accessories--> Command Prompt
    • From the black Command Prompt window type: tracert 64.202.118.179
    • Allow the tracert to complete up to 30 hops (it is expected that the results will eventually time out)

    Once completed, please take a screen shot of your results and send us this information in an email to support[at]ninjtrader[dot]com

      I'll do what you asked me to do. But this doesn't always happen. Just occasionally, but very frustrating when it does.

        The past several days I have been trying to get data (tick and minute) for ES from prior to 1/1/2013. And I can't. It just sits there saying "Download in progress..."". It says this for about 3-10 minutes and then I get the "Error loading data...." I''d like to get data back to 4/3/2012 (1 year), but even just an additional 3 months would be nice (prior to 1/1/2013).

        I connect through zen-fire. Let me know what I can do. Thank you

          It shouldn't take much to get a years worth of minute data. Tick data may take longer, but I can't imagine why a years of minute data would take more than a few seconds.

          To get a benchmark, can you load a years worth of minute data without any indicators/strategies/custom templates installed and let us know how long this takes?

          Can you then try again using the tick data and let us know the load times here as well.

              Did you send in your diagnostics to our support team as per post #2? If so, who were you working with? Do you have a ticket number?

              If you have not sent this in, can you please do so now? We can log into your PC to run some additional diagnostics as well if that would work for you..
