Connection with IB and eSignal

With a connection settings for IB in NT
1. Histrocial Data "Use InteractiveBrokers Servers" choosen
2. Backup datafeed connection as "eSignal"
3. No access of data for S&P500 index and DAX future in IB
4. Access of data for S&P500 index and DAX future in eSignal
5. I connect first to IB and then to eSignal
6. When tried to download historical data for S&P500 index and DAX future, an error massage of "Error on reloading historical data" as per "IB-eSig Connect4,png" appeared and historical data from eSignal cannot be loaded into NT
7. I have tried to change connection settings for IB in NT to "Disabled, I will use another connection for histrical data" and able to download histrical data from eSignal

How could I get NT to download from eSignal for histroical data which I have no access right in IB but available from eSignal, while maintaining IB as the perferred data feed for data that I have access in IB first.

Please advice how could this be achieve, thank you.

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately, since both eSignal and Interactive Brokers support Equities, Forex, Futures, and Indexes NinjaTrader will not look to eSignal if Interactive Brokers is connected first for historical data when the data request from Interactive Brokers fails because it is not subscribed or enabled for that data.

NinjaTrader looks to the instrument type supported and not the instrument itself. Since both eSignal and Interactive Brokers support all instrument types in NinjaTrader, NinjaTrader will not look to the second connection if the data cannot be requested for one instrument.
