    Some prices are messed up?

    Hi,

I am using IQFeed, and most of the data works, but for some symbols, the prices are kind of messed up, please see the attached chart, it's NVDA 1-min...

the price on 4/12 is around 12.xx, but on 4/11, the price is around 25.xx

so I see this kind of weird chart?! I can't do any backtesting on these symbols...

I see similar results in other basic symbols or futures, such as FDAX.

Any suggestion to diagnose this problem? I just downloaded & started to use NT + IQFeed about one week ago.

    Thanks.

The more I try with different symbols, the more I found data corrupted...

for example, I created a new chart for FSLR, it also has the same problem as my first post, the price was around 27.xx on 4/8, and then 54.xx on 4/11...

besides, I found that there is no data for 4/9, 4/10 (these two days are not shown in X -axis at all)

I reset the DB, the problem is still there.

If I right click on a chart and select "Reload All Historical Data", the problem goes away!

What made the corrupted data happen? Why can't the system load the correct data by itself (not waiting for me to "Reload All Historical Data")?

And if I want to backtest a symbol or a list, I can't "Reload All Historical Data" on each symbol's chart, because it is too time consuming... There must be a root cause, please let me know, so I can fix it all at once.

      Thanks.

P.S. I tried "Reload All" in Historical Data Manager, but when I tried to backtest a list, the historical data was still corrupted. Unless I opened a chart for a certain symbol and clicked Reload All Historical Data, the symbol will be fixed. But how about others? I can't do it one by one, there are thousands.

I thought previous configurations (such as "record for market reply") might cause this problem... So I did a clean install for Ninjatrader (I also removed related folders in My Documents)

At the beginning I thought everything worked. However, after I backtested on a few symbols, I see the problem again (such as AKAM)... I have to "Reload All Historical Data" on AKAM to make the chart look fine.

I have sent you the trace file by email to your support email.

          Thanks.

              Ok, I have just sent.

Let me recap what I did today. I re-installed NT, and connect with IQFeed (without other configurations to make sure my system is pretty "clean")

I tested a strategy on SP 500 list but I aborted a while later.

Although it's aborted, a few symbols were still tested so I looked into them, and the price charts are messed up.

If you NEW a chart for AET, you can see the price messed up... If you "Reload All History Data", the prices will become correct.
