Hello. Thanks for the support!

I have a daily chart of ZB up, ##-###. It does not reflect prices in real time. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello,

Zen-Fire does not support the continuous contract and you will need to use the current expiry.

You can then set your merge settings such that the previous contracts would be merged into the current.

For example:

Use ZB 06-13
Go to tools -> options -> Data tab -> Merge Policy -> Set as desired

Thanks! This worked.

Now, however, on the daily chart the previous day does not show up. So I have a daily chart up of ZB 6/13 with the merge policy set to NOBACKADJUSTED. I downloaded data for 4/1/13-4/5/13, but 4/4/13 is not showing on the daily chart. It is showing up on another chart I have open.

Help?

You'll also want to make sure the chart is setup to load enough days as desired.

As a side note:
With Zen-Fire daily bars are recorded in RTH (Regular Trading Hours) rather than ETH (Electronic Trading Hours) to our servers.
Since they are recorded in RTH they can only be provided in RTH.
To be able to view daily bars with Zen-Fire in ETH you have two options:
1) Open a 1440 minute based chart (1440 minutes in a day) and use an ETH (Electronic Trading Hours), Default 24/7, or Default 24/5 Session Template.
2) Use the Kinetick End of Day free feed and use an ETH (Electronic Trading Hours), Default 24/7, or Default 24/5 Session Template.
The Kinetick is as follows:
• From the Control Center -> File -> Disconnect -> your Zen-Fire connection
• File -> Connect -> Kinetick End of Day
• File -> Connect -> Your Zen-Fire connection
This will now make Kinetick be set to retrieve the data before Zen-Fire.

Days to load is selected appropriately. I have the bars for 4/1/13 all the way through the last day 4/5/13, except 4/4/13.

I have RTH selected.

When you connect to Kinetick End of Day (free)

Does this resolve the issue?

It could be maintenance as it is the weekend right now.

Please provide me with an image of your chart.
To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

My FGBM charts load fine.

Shut down NT and restarted. Problem solved!
