CQG no historical data

    CQG no historical data

    Hi

    many times (around 1 time per week) the data on the chart stop during the night on my CQG connection but i still receive the live data.

    for example yesterday night at 11:00 PM my quotation stop on the chart but still continue on live...

    This morning i restarted my NT7 but the chart is no updated... this is a problem because i a have a opened position on 6J and i cannot check on the chart if the trailing stop are well managed...

    Anyone has this problem ?

    Thank you for your post.

    Does a new chart show the data which is missing?

    Could data in this chart be updated by right clicking in the chart and selecting the Reload All Historical Data option?

    Are you using the 7.0.1000.12 release of NinjaTrader or another version? To check, please click Help > About.

      Hi Kyle

      i use the 7.0.1000.12 release.

      When a launch a new chart that works, i have the new data updated.

      on the old chart, when i click right Reload All Historical Data that does not work... it is still not updated from yesterday...

      I don't know why

        Thank you for your response.

        So I may investigate this matter further please answer the following questions.

        What expiry is selected for your 6J chart?

        Does this occur on multiple charts or just the 6J? Does this occur with multiple instruments?

        What interval is selected for your chart(s)? (Example: Tick, Minute, Day, etc.)

        Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

          this is just the 6J 06-13 contract, this is on a 30 minutes chart with the ParabolicSAR and the DMIStochasticExtreme indicator

          I do not have error on my logs

            Thank you for your response.

            Please shut down NinjaTrader > then go to the following directory on your PC: (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db\cache > then delete all contents in the cache folder > restart NinjaTrader.

            Please let me know if the 6J chart updates after deleting the contents of the (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db\cache folder. If not please right click in your chart > select Data Series and advise what Session Template is selected for the 6J chart.
