Just received the message regarding CQG.

It notes that if I have not yet upgrades that I should do so at this time.

Is this because something else is broken or because it is best to move people to the next version of software to take advantage of the new features?

If you downloaded NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.13 on or before April 29, 2013 there is an identified issue with that release which could result in non OCO orders being mistakenly canceled. If you had installed that release please uninstall it at this time using the directions below. Once uninstalled, you need to download and install the fixed NinjaTrader release using the instructions below. If you did not upgrade your NinjaTrader installation to the current release previously, we do suggest that you update at this time.

Thanks, I saw the advisory.

My question is more along the lines of ... if I did not upgrade to the new version so not affected by the specific problem, is there a reason I need to upgrade right away?

If you do not have version 7.0.1000.13 installed, it does not apply.

However it is always best to have the latest version installed, because it contains fixes and enhancements compared to older versions. Please see the release notes at the link below.

Version 7.0.1000.13 also fixed an issue with the CQG adapter.

If one OCO order got rejected, the other order could be stuck in 'PendingSubmit'
