    Never seen this error before

    Hi, we had a potential customer install our software (BloodHound) via an installer that simply copied the required DLL, and .cs file to the bin\Custom directory. Also the installer modified the Config.xml with the required references to those DLLs.

    When he opened up NT he often gets this message:

    Visual C# Command Line Compiler has stopped working.

    A problem cause the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

    We had him close NinjaTrader, and delete the NinjaTrader.Custom.dll to force a recompile, but he is still getting the same error.

    I have no idea, hopefully NT support gets in here on this one.

    What is the target's machine? xp/vista/win7/win8? 32/64? latest .net installed that isn't corrupted?

      Thanks for the suggestion - I'll have him try out a dotnet fix.

        Jeremy, can you reproduce this on any of your machines? Which OS is the client using? What's the target framework for your custom DLL's here, anything below .NET 4.0?

          Hi Bertrand, we cannot reproduce this issue on any machine - so it's quite a mystery. Have you seen anything like this before?

          We had him perform the dotNetFix. He is on Windows 8.

            Thanks Jeremy, have no direct case to correlate here unfortunately - I would be curious if he sees it on an older release as well, so it could be perhaps isolate this way to a change? If you like I can test it as well on my Win8 setup, for that just contact me directly at support at ninjatrader dot com. Thanks

              Sure thing Bertrand... this customer didn't update our software, it's the first installation. I will send you the installer he used.
