expand candles

how do i get my daily candle from looking so small? the hour and 4 hour are just fine.

Thank you for your post.

You'll need to adjust the Auto-scale settings of your indicators:
Right click in the chart and select Indicators.
Select an indicator from the list on the lower left.
On the right side of the menu, set 'Auto-scale' to False'
Make the same change for all indicators then click OK.

did that. then clicked apply then ok. i change the time to 1 hour then back to daily. i even close the chart and open a new one. and did the process over. still very small candles

got it. now how do i know what to input there? the other charts are have the same "default" settings. and the other charts work fine. so im not sure how im suppose to change the settings to get it to work. i look at my other daily charts and they work just fine. not sure why this one does not.

ok ill do that. not sure if that will work.

now when i change the chart to 60 min it looks fine. the candle look just fine in any time frame but the Daily.

ok, when i reset the settings i get the same values as all my other charts. i do click on the apply button. then when i double click to open the properties it goes back so some strange settings.

Were you not able to modify the chart's scale manually using the steps outlined at the link we discussed? Did an error of some kind appear when attempting to change the settings?

1. Double click in the right or left margin to open the Chart Panel Properties window, or right mouse click in the price scale and select the menu Properties... Set the Range to Fixed and enter a Maximum and Minimum for the chart scale.

what is the maximum and minimum? i have no clue what im suppose to put there. if try expanding the chart by Y-axis margin up and down the chart looks terrible. why only this particular daily on instrument 6J.

and even when i type in a series of numbers it just goes back to the small candles.

the only thing i can see its that it has been trending straight down and the chart can't fit all the candles. when i go back a year or so the candles seem to get bigger and better spread out on the chart window.

tried that also. the problem is you can only get 1 months worth of candle doing that. if i zoom out then we go back to the tiny candles. i hope its because of the sharp down trend.
